When the Tehsildar opened the temple and started service-worship, the son lying on the death bed was cured. On this the Tehsildar had organized the fair for the first time, since then this fair is held here every year.

The British fired cannon balls on the temple, tell that, by the grace of God, no damage was done to the temple by the shells. Even today, a ball is kept in the temple.
