A heart-wrenching case is coming to light from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, where a young man brutally assaulted his wife. The condition of the woman became very serious due to the fight. When her mother came to know about this, she went to see her daughter. When the accused youth saw his mother-in-law, he lost his temper and locked her in a room and beat her up as well. Due to this, the mother-in-law has suffered serious injuries on her face and both of them are currently being treated.
According to the information, 50 year old Vidya Devi, resident of Lori Kheda village of Jehanabad police station area of Pilibhit, reached the district hospital of Bareilly in an injured condition. The condition of the woman is said to be serious. Vidya Devi has alleged that her daughter Kumkum was married to Sumit in Angoori village of Subhash Nagar area of Bareilly. She told that the husband and in-laws have tried to kill the daughter by burning her alive.
After receiving the information, mother Vidya Devi reached her daughter’s in-laws house, where the accused and his family were shocked to see her. The accused son-in-law caught hold of her, locked her in a room and started beating her. Vidya Devi has suffered serious injuries on her face and eyes. He somehow saved his life and reached the neighborhood and informed the police about this entire matter. Police reached the spot and rescued him and he was admitted to the hospital.
After this entire incident, the accused have absconded, however, based on the complaint of the woman, the police have registered a case against the in-laws under serious sections. At present the police is raiding in search of the accused. The police have assured the victim and her daughter that soon the accused will be arrested and sent to jail. At present the matter is being investigated.
