Om Prakash Rajbhar
In the politics of Uttar Pradesh, after breaking the alliance with the Samajwadi Party (SP), Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief Om Prakash Rajbhar has come on the front foot and is batting politically for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the SP chief is his target. This is Akhilesh Yadav. Amidst the ongoing check-mate game between SP and Congress, Omprakash Rajbhar raised questions on the opposition alliance INDIA and said that SP will contest elections on all seats in UP. Akhilesh himself wants Narendra Modi to become Prime Minister again. Rajbhar has said this many times and has repeated it once again. In such a situation, the question arises that what political message does Rajbhar want to give this time?
After re-entering the BJP-led NDA camp, Om Prakash Rajbhar’s entire focus is to weaken Akhilesh Yadav politically in UP. In such a situation, Rajbhar’s strategy is to discredit Akhilesh Yadav among his own core vote bank. In view of this, he is seen setting the narrative of making Akhilesh Yadav and his party stand with BJP. That is why Rajbhar says that Akhilesh Yadav himself wants Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister again. For this he is making every possible effort.
‘Akhilesh wants BJP to remain strong’
Rajbhar says that Akhilesh always wants BJP to remain strong and he wants to maintain fear among Muslims so that they remain with SP. Not only this, Rajbhar alleged that SP came to power in UP by showing fear of BJP and with the help of Muslim votes, but gave benefits only to the Yadav community. Rajbhar raised the question whether any person from the backward class got a job during the rule of Akhilesh and SP? Everyone knows what happened during the Samajwadi Party rule and who benefited.
SubhaSP chief Om Prakash Rajbhar said that Akhilesh Yadav does not want to allow Congress to become stronger. If Congress is strong in UP then SP will be weak. That is why Akhilesh himself wants that BJP should remain strong and Narendra Modi should become the Prime Minister again. Rajbhar said, ‘In UP, SP will contest elections not on 65 but on all 80 Lok Sabha seats, because Akhilesh Yadav’s mission is not 2024 but 2027. That is why Akhilesh has fielded his candidates from MP to Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.

Attempt to tarnish SP’s image
Rajbhar is not saying these things just like that but he also has political motives. The core votebank of SP is Yadav and Muslims. Due to the way the Muslim community voted outright in favor of SP in the 2022 elections, BJP’s seats had decreased compared to 2017. Not only this, BJP was lagging behind SP in about 25 Lok Sabha seats. Om Prakash Rajbhar knows that if, like in 2022, Muslims vote outright for SP in 2024, then the equations on many seats may get disturbed.

Om Prakash Rajbhar also knows that SP cannot be weakened without Muslim votes alienating Akhilesh. That is why Rajbhar’s strategy is to discredit Akhilesh and his party SP among Muslims by pitting them against BJP. According to political analysts, Muslim voters can tolerate everything, but not collusion with BJP. A major reason behind Muslims moving away from BSP in UP has been Mayawati’s soft stance towards BJP. That is why SP leaders have been accusing BSP of being the B-team of BJP. Now Rajbhar is playing the same strategy against SP.
