So the Kisan Samman Nidhi could not be transferred to his account due to non-updation of Aadhaar of MLA Rahul Kol from the same seat. MP Pakori Kol and his wife Panna Devi and MLA son Rahul Kol are residents of Patehra Kala village of Madihan tehsil of Mirzapur district. The Aadhaar of the MP family was linked on the Kisan Samman Nidhi portal on 21 August 2019. Earlier account mode was used by the government to send money to the account of Kisan Samman Nidhi beneficiary but now it is done through Aadhaar mode.
Installment not received due to non-updation of MLA’s Aadhaar
Nine installments of Samman Nidhi have been sent to their account due to the linking of Pakodi Kol and his wife on the Aadhaar portal, while the amount of funds could not be transferred to their account due to non-updating of Rahul Kol’s Aadhaar. As soon as the matter came to light, there was a stir in the district. Deputy Agriculture Director Ashok Upadhyay says that not a single rupee of Samman Nidhi has been transferred to the MLA’s account.
The account of the MP and his wife is being investigated, if the amount of Samman Nidhi has been taken by them, then its recovery will be made. At the same time, when he was called to know the side of MLA Rahul Kol in this case, his phone was found switched off and MP Pakori Kol had gone to Delhi to participate in the monsoon session.
