CBI had arrested former Deputy CM Sisodia on 26 February 2023 after investigating the Delhi Excise case. Following his arrest by the CBI, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested him from Tihar Jail on March 9 in a related money laundering case.
Manish Sisodia had challenged his arrest in the Supreme Court in November last year. However, he did not get relief from there also.
