Jaipur: The Rajasthan State Human Rights Commission has sought a factual report from the district administration, taking suo motu cognizance of a mentally challenged minor girl being found in a deplorable and injured condition.
Police say that they have got some clues regarding this incident and the matter is being investigated. At the same time, BJP leaders going to meet Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra regarding this matter were stopped by the police in Sawai Madhopur on January 13.
Police said that prima facie it appears to be a case of rape. However, till now this has not been confirmed.
Several police teams have been constituted to investigate the matter, but till now the police have not got any specific information about the incident with the victim.
The victim was admitted to the district hospital in Alwar, from where the doctors sent her to JK Lone Hospital in Jaipur on the night of 11 January.
It is noteworthy that after going missing for hours on Tuesday (January 11) in Malkheda police station area of Alwar district, a 14-year-old mentally challenged teenager was found injured near Tijara gate at around 9 pm (25 km away). In view of the victim’s other serious injuries including genitals, her surgery has been done on 12 January at JK Lone Hospital in Jaipur.
Hospital Superintendent Dr. Arvind Shukla told that the victim’s injury was deep and it took about two and a half hours for its surgery. He said that she is mentally disabled and is unable to speak properly.
He said that the medical report would reveal whether the injury was caused by sexual assault or some other object of assault.
Meanwhile, Health Minister Parsadi Lal Meena, Industries Minister Shakuntala Rawat, Women and Child Welfare Minister Mamta Bhupesh visited the hospital and met the victim. He also took information about the girl’s health from the doctors.
The Health Minister said that the hospital administration is taking full care of the girl and she is out of danger. He also directed to provide free treatment to the victim and make arrangements for lodging and food for the family members.
According to official sources, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has sought a report from Director General of Police ML Lather in this matter and has directed for a detailed investigation.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the State Human Rights Commission, taking suo motu cognizance, directed the Alwar district administration officials and the Alwar Superintendent of Police to submit a factual report in the case by January 18 and arrest the culprits involved in the crime.
The commission’s chairman Justice Gopal Krishna Vyas has directed the superintendent of JK Lone hospital to provide proper treatment to the victim and submit a report.
Alwar Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam said that the medical report of the victim is yet to come and the team is probing the matter based on the FIR.
He said, ‘We are investigating the matter on the basis of the FIR. We have got some clues and we are working on it. We are yet to receive the medical report of the victim.
Tejaswani Gautam said that different police teams have been constituted to investigate the matter.
He said that the police is trying to identify the accused through CCTV footage and linking the links to reach the Tijara gate after the victim went missing from the house.
According to the report of Dainik Bhaskar, even after three days of this heinous incident, the police have not been able to gather the clues of the accused, far from catching them.
At the same time, the main opposition party Bharatiya Janata Party was attacking the Congress government on this matter on Thursday as well. The members of the committee constituted by the BJP on Thursday wanted to go to Ranthambore to meet Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, but were stopped by the police.
According to the party spokesperson, the party’s National Minister Dr. Alka Gurjar, Mahila Morcha State President Alka Mundra, State Chief Spokesperson Ramlal Sharma and State Minister Jitendra Gothwal have been arrested by the police in Sawai Madhopur and did not allow them to meet Priyanka Gandhi. .

Rajasthan State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Chairperson Sangeeta Beniwal also reached the hospital and asked the doctors about the condition of the victim.
Beniwal told that the arrangements for the treatment of the girl were taken stock and as per the requirement, psychiatric doctors have also been deployed to take care of her.
