Rajasthan High Court: Justice SS Shinde sworn in as 39th Chief Justice, tenure of only 42 days

Jaipur: Justice Sambhaji Shivaji Shinde (Justice Sambhaji Shivaji Shinde) Now Rajasthan High Court (Rajasthan High Court) the new Chief Justice of (Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court) Will be Governor Kalraj Mishra at Raj Bhavan today at 4 pm (Governer Kalraj Mishra) administered the oath of office and secrecy to Justice Sambhaji Shivaji Shinde. Justice SS Shinde has been sworn in as the 39th Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.

It is noteworthy that Shinde will be the second Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court with the shortest tenure till date. His tenure will be about 42 days. After the retirement of Justice Akil Qureshi, the post of Chief Justice in Rajasthan High Court was lying vacant for about three and a half months.

Many dignitaries were present in this swearing-in ceremony. Many respected people from Maharashtra have also reached this function being held at Raj Bhavan. Apart from this, members of Bar Council and advocates including judicial officers of Raj Bhavan, High Court and Sessions Court have also reached Raj Bhavan.

Justice JM Panchal’s tenure was 55 days.

At the same time, Justice JM Panchal’s tenure as Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court was about 55 days. He held this position from 16 September 2007 to 11 November 2007. Apart from this, Justice Deepak Verma served as the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court for about 65 days. He later became a Supreme Court judge. Justice Verma was the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court from 6 March 2009 to 10 May 2009.
