New Delhi: Lakhs of people visit Rajpath to watch the Republic Day Parade in India. There is a different enthusiasm among the people about the tableaux seen on this day. This time on January 26, 75 fighter aircraft will fly as part of the celebration of Amrit Mahotsav of Azadi. This will be the biggest flypast ever. During the ceremony, 75 fighter aircraft including 5 Rafale will be involved and they will show India’s power from the sky.
Air Force Spokesperson Wing Commander Indranil Nandi said that special preparations have been made as part of the ‘Azadi Ke Amrit Mahotsav’ celebrations. On the occasion of the Republic Day Parade, 5 Rafale aircraft will perform feats and display their might on the Rajpath. Along with this, the MiG-29K and P-8I surveillance aircraft of the Navy will also fly. He told that 17 Jaguar aircraft will be seen in the sky forming the shape of the 75th year of Amrit Mahotsav.
4 MI-17v5 Helicopters of Dhvaj Formation, 4 Advance Light Helicopters of Rudra Formation (with Parade) will fly in 5 ALH Arrow Formation of Rahat Formation during Flight Past after Parade. Formation- Meghna (71 in memory of the war) will fly in 1 Chinook and 4 Mi-17 Arrow formations. The third formation will be flying Eklavya’s 1 Mi 35 helicopter and four Apache helicopters in the Aero formation. 17 Jaguar aircraft will be seen in the sky forming the shape of the 75th year of Amrit Mahotsav.
For the last two years, less people are attending the Republic Day parade due to Corona. This time also only 24 thousand people are allowed to attend in view of the situation of Corona in Delhi. This time the Republic Day celebration is starting from January 23 instead of January 24, as the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose is celebrated on this day.
