After this he was raided in Alwar, Rajasthan and arrested. Two SIM cards, mobile phone and 90 thousand rupees of fraud have been recovered from his possession.
Actually, Inspector Rakshpal Singh posted at 112 PRV received a call from an unknown number. The accused introduced himself as their relative and informed about the accident. Demanded money from him on the pretext of urgent surgery. The inspector got confused after hearing that a close relative had met with an accident and transferred Rs 99,000 to the bank account given by the caller. Realizing that he was cheated, he complained to the cyber cell on October 12. A case was registered against unknown person in Shahganj police station under sections of fraud.

Information about relatives was received from Facebook
During interrogation, the accused told that he had received the SIM taken on a fake ID of Karnataka from his friend. Before making the victim, they used to look at his Facebook account and find out about his close relatives. After this they started cheating people.
