PM Modi will launch the mission in Khunti, Jharkhand (PTI)
An attempt is being made to show an example of the work done by the Central Government for the public in the last 10 years through a special mission. According to central government sources, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Developed India Mission from Khunti in Jharkhand on Wednesday (November 15). Along with showing a glimpse of developed India, a picture of overall plans will be presented to improve the lives of tribals.
According to the information received by TV 9 Bharatvarsh, the Vikas Bharat Mission will pass through 24 states and union territories of the country. At present, 393 blocks and 8,940 panchayats of 69 districts of the country have been included in this.
What is developed India mission?
According to sources, taking a big step to empower the tribals in the country, Prime Minister Modi will launch the PM PVTG (Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group) Development Mission on November 15. Through which a beginning will be made on how to improve the living standards of the tribals.
According to sources, PM Modi has launched a scheme of Rs 24,000 crore for the welfare of tribals to ensure overall development through PVTG. Also, under this first mission since independence, the government has decided to celebrate Tribal Pride Day.
What is PVTG mission?
The Central Government had announced the launch of the Prime Minister PVTG Vikas Mission in the Budget 2023-24 to improve the socio-economic conditions of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs). 75 PVTGs live in 22,544 villages (220 districts) in 18 states and union territories with a population of about 28 lakh.
Who were included in this group
According to government sources, the people who have been included in this scheme live in inaccessible settlements. For these, a comprehensive plan has been made to provide families and settlements with basic facilities like better telecommunication connectivity, electricity, housing, clean water and sanitation.
