New Delhi: If you work in any government or non-government organization and PF is getting cut then this news is going to be very important for you. EPFO has transferred the interest amount in the account of PF account holders, which has benefited more than 6 crore employees.

For the financial year 2020-21, an interest rate of 8.50 percent has been deposited in 22.55 crore provident fund accounts. On Monday, the retirement fund body said in a tweet that, for the financial year 2020-21, 8.50 percent interest has been deposited in 22.55 crore accounts.

– Check the amount through SMS

To check balance through SMS, send EPFOHO UAN LAN to 7738299899. Here instead of UAN, you have to write your 12 digit UAN number. Whereas instead of LAN, the code of the language will have to be written. If you need information , language, type HIN instead of LAN.

You can also check PF balance by making a missed call on the toll-free number. Give a missed call on 011-22901406. After the call, you will get an SMS containing all your PF account details.

– Via UMANG App

Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance, (Umang app) Open the UMANG app.

Now click on EPFO.

Click on ’employee-centric services’.

Then click on ‘view passbook’ and enter UAN and One-Time Password (OTP).

After this the members will be able to check EPF balance.
