Ingredients for making Paneer Makhani Biryani-
Basmati Rice 3 cups (boiled)
-Paneer 1/2 kg
Cashew paste 1 cup
-Cream 1/2 cup
Onion Fried Lachha 1 cup
Onion 1 cup (finely chopped)
-Almond kernel 10-12
-Ghee 4 tablespoons
-Butter 2 tablespoons
-Tomato puree 1 cup
Green chili 3 (chopped)
– 5-6 buds of garlic
-Ginger 1 tablespoon (finely chopped)
-Turmeric powder 1 tsp
-Coriander powder 1 tbsp
-Mint leaves 1 tbsp
-Tanduri masala 1 tbsp
– Cardamom powder 1/2 tsp
-Cinnamon 2 big pieces
– cloves 4-5
Cardamom 4 big
Green cardamom 7-8
-Pepper powder 1/4 tsp
– salt to taste
Recipe to make Paneer Makhani Biryani-
To make this, first put ghee in a pan and heat it on medium.
Then you add paneer pieces and fry till golden brown and keep them in a plate.
After this, add cinnamon, clove, big cardamom, small cardamom, black pepper in this remaining oil.
Then you fry all these spices while stirring for half a minute.
After this, add finely chopped onion, green chili, ginger, garlic to it.
Then you cook it for about 2-3 minutes while stirring it on high flame.
After this, add powdered spices to it and mix well.
Then add tomato puree to it and fry it while stirring for about 4-5 minutes.
After this, add cashew paste, salt and cream to it and mix it well.
Then when this mixture is cooked well, then add cheese to it and cook for about 7-8 minutes and turn off the gas.
After this, you keep a big pot or vessel on the gas on low flame.
Then you spread the first layer of one-third boiled rice in it.
After this, make a layer of half mixture of paneer over the rice.
You have to spread three layers of rice and two layers of paneer.
Then after adding paneer mixture, again spread a third layer of rice and the remaining paneer mixture on top of it.
After this, after adding paneer, spread the layer of remaining rice.
Then spread fried onions, mint and coriander leaves well on top of the rice.
After this, cover the vessel with foil paper or any lid and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes.
Now your delicious Paneer Makhani Biryani is ready.
Then you serve it hot with your favorite raita.
