Mahalaxmi Kit was started in the state to help the pregnant women of Uttarakhand and to make the birth of a girl child positive. Its objective is similar to ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ Mahalaxmi Kit scheme, which is in the interest of women. This is what Uttarakhand’s Women Empowerment and Child Development Minister Rekha Arya has to say. He has made a big announcement that in the coming days, just as Mahalakshmi kit is given on the birth of a girl child, similarly Mahalakshmi kit will be given on the birth of a son also. This work will start soon in the state.

Along with this, she also organized baby showers for pregnant women and distributed nutrition kits to malnourished women. Apart from this, he also distributed Chief Minister Mahalaxmi Kit. Women are getting a lot of support from this kit.
