In Bulandshahr, the police recently organized a program named “Criminals’ Market”. In this, about 300 people with a history of robbery, who were on bail, were called to the police line from different police stations. Not only the robbers and criminals but also their family members were requested to come. Then the collected data of these robbers was made available online.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Shlok Kumar has made it mandatory to produce the robbers involved in robbery incidents in the last three years. During the incident, the police have stored details like their names, addresses, identification, fingerprints, eye contact and body marks. While in police lines, the robbers were given a stern warning about the consequences of continuing in the world of crime.

The main objective of this initiative is to keep an eye on the activities of robbers and increase control on crime. This legal change has been made to simplify the work of the authorities by making the data of these criminals publicly available. This will also make it easier to keep a special eye on these criminals.
SSP Shlok Kumar has also extended an invitation to those who want to decide to give up their criminal ways. They have been assured of support to rejoin the society.

Moreover, the information gathered during this incident will serve as a strong basis to arrest any culprit and bring him to justice. This active campaign has been carried out under the guidance of the Director General of Police (DGP). Its main motive is to promote public safety and maintain the rule of law.
