NEET AND Counseling 2021: The dates for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET-UG) Counseling 2021 has been released by the Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will start the registration process for NEET UG counseling from January 19. So candidates willing to appear in NEET UG counseling mcc.nic.in But you can apply online from January 19.
Giving information about the NEET UG counseling to be started from January 19, Union Health Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya said, “Dear students, MCC counseling for NEET-UG is being started from January 19. You all are the future of the country. And hope that all of you will give a new direction to your career with the mantra of service. I wish everyone the very best.”
MCC had recently issued a notice on the website saying that the counseling process would be started soon. Under the state quota, a total of 192 medical colleges will be admitted to 23,378 MBBS seats. 83,075 for MBBS, 26,949 for BDS, 52,720 for AYUSH, 603 for BVSC and AH, 1,899 for AIIMS and 249 for JIPMER. The student was also asked to keep the necessary documents ready.
MCC will conduct the NEET UG counseling 2021 in four rounds. These are AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop Up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Fresh registration will be done only in AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round. MCC conducts NEET UG and PG counseling for All India Quota seats – 15 per cent for UG and 50 per cent for PG. The MCC counseling for both UG and PG medical and dental seats will be conducted in four rounds. These are: AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Till 2020, MCC conducted NEET counseling in two rounds. The mop-ups and other rounds were only for central and deemed universities.
