New Delhi: NEET UG Counseling 2021: The process of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) counseling 2021 will begin from Wednesday (January 19). The application process for UG Round 1 counseling will end by January 24. After registration, candidates will have to select and confirm the colleges from the list of available options by January 24. The verification of candidates will be done by the institutes from 25 to 26 January 2022.
The seat allotment process will be conducted till January 28, and the Round 1 seat allotment result will be declared on January 29. After the result of Round 1, the application process for Round 2 seat allotment will be conducted from February 9 to 14 and that of Round 3 from March 2 to 7.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Thursday that the counseling for NEET-graduate will start from January 19. He also extended best wishes to the students. Mandaviya tweeted, “Dear students, counseling for NEET-Graduate by MCC is going to start from 19th January. You all are the future of the country and I hope you all will give a new direction to your career with the mantra ‘Seva Hi Dharma’. I wish everyone the best.”
MCC will conduct the NEET UG counseling 2021 in four rounds. These are AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop Up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Fresh registration will be done only in AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round. MCC conducts NEET UG and PG counseling for All India Quota seats – 15 per cent for UG and 50 per cent for PG. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official website- mcc.nic.in for more updates.
The MCC counseling for both UG and PG medical and dental seats will be conducted in four rounds. These are: AIQ Round 1, AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. Till 2020, MCC conducted NEET counseling in two rounds. The mop-ups and other rounds were only for central and deemed universities.
