A single bench of Justice Vishal Dhagat of Madhya Pradesh High Court heard the important issue. Where the court rejected the bail petition while commenting whether the motive of the criminals is to incite riots in the country. Therefore, giving them the benefit of bail is not justified. In fact, in Bhopal, the court has refused to grant the benefit of bail to the accused of tying a leash around the neck of a Hindu youth and forcing him to bark like a dog.
Of the six accused arrested by the police, two had approached the Madhya Pradesh High Court for bail. While hearing the petition, Madhya Pradesh High Court has made strong remarks. The court has said whether the aim of the criminals was to incite riots in the country? With this argument, Madhya Pradesh High Court has rejected the bail petitions of accused Bilal and Salauddin.
Pressure created to accept Islam
This entire matter is of the month of June. Where in Tila Jamalpur police station area of Bhopal, a Hindu youth was brutally beaten by 6 youths of other religion, Bilal Tila, Faizan Lala, Mohammad Sameer Tila, Sahil Bachha and Mufid Khan. Also, a leash was tied around his neck and he was made to walk around like a dog. By forcing him to bark, he was also pressurized to accept Islam.
Bulldozer ran on the house of the accused
There was a stir in the state after the video of this entire matter surfaced through social media. State Government Home Minister Narottam Mishra had given instructions to take immediate action against the accused. The police took action against the accused and imposed NSA. The accused were arrested and their houses were bulldozed.
Bail cannot be granted – Court
Now out of the six accused arrested in this case, two accused Bilal and Salauddin have taken refuge in Madhya Pradesh High Court for bail. During the hearing on which Madhya Pradesh High Court said that there are serious crimes against the accused. In such a situation, he cannot be given the benefit of bail.
On behalf of the state government, prosecution lawyer Akshay Namdev presented his case before the court and said that it is not appropriate to give the benefit of bail to such criminals. On this the court clearly refused to grant bail to both the accused.
