Talks with the government are now inconclusive, after which farmers are now going to march to Delhi.
Several talks held today i.e. on Monday between the farmers and the government who were adamant on marching to Delhi remained inconclusive. Even after the meeting that continued for five hours, talks could not be reached between the farmer leaders and the government. Along with this, the farmers have maintained their announcement of marching to Delhi. It is being told that talks between the farmers and the government regarding MSP and loan waiver have not been successful. There is talk of forming a high power committee by the central government. The farmer is not ready for this.
Farmers of Punjab will now march towards Delhi, preparations have been made by the Central Government for this, barricading is being done on the borders. Haryana government has also sealed Shambhu border and full force has been deployed to maintain law and order. The Central Government has also sent companies of paramilitary forces to Haryana. However, even before that, the central government wants to reach a reconciliation with the farmers. That is why talks are going on with the Union Minister and farmers for the last three hours in Chandigarh, out of which consensus seems to be emerging on some issues.
Talk stuck on MSP guarantee
In the ongoing meeting between the farmers and the central government, the issue of guarantee of MSP is stuck, the government has given assurance of forming a high power committee and including farmer leaders in it, but the farmers are refusing it. Farmers demand that the government will have to make a concrete announcement in this regard. The Central Government said that the matter of guaranteeing the MSP of pulses can be considered immediately, but to guarantee the MSP for other crops, the Central Government needs some time to make amendments.
