Once again an attempt has been made to incite violence in the north-eastern state of Manipur. This time militant groups have targeted Tengnoupal district of the state. It is reported that 13 people have lost their lives in the clash between two militant groups. After receiving information about the incident, the Assam Rifles team reached the spot, surrounded the entire area and intensified efforts to arrest the militants and create peace in the area.

Questions are being raised on the law and order situation of the entire state due to reports of violence at some places. Home Minister Amit Shah himself has been holding meetings to create peace in Manipur. On December 3, the Kuki-Jo tribal groups in Tengnoupal district welcomed the peace agreement signed between the Government of India and UNLEF. In such a situation, this incident has once again spread tension in the state.
Information has been given by the security forces that the place where the militants committed the incident is located at a distance of about 10 kilometers from the nearest security force location. When the soldiers reached the spot after getting information about the incident, they found 13 dead bodies in Leethu village. Security forces have surrounded the entire area. No weapon of any kind has been recovered from the dead bodies. Initial investigation has revealed that the 13 people who died in the incident are not from the Lithu area. All are said to be from outside. No dead body has been identified yet. After receiving information about the incident, police also reached the spot.
