Ingredients for making Moong Dal Masala Khichdi-
Moong dal 1 cup washed
– one cup of rice
-Beans 1/2 cup chopped
Potato 1 small
Cauliflower 1 cup
-Carrot 1/2 cup
-Tomato 1 medium
Green chili 1 chopped
-Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
-garam masala 1/4 tsp
Red chili 2 dry
– Steep spices 1 tsp
– Ghee 3 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder 1/2 tsp
– salt to taste
Cumin – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida 1/8 tsp
-Rai 1/2 teaspoon
Recipe to make Moong Dal Masala Khichdi-
To make this, first of all wash the moong dal and rice thoroughly.
Then put ghee in a pressure cooker and heat it.
After this, you add standing spices and cook it.
Then add all the vegetables in it and fry it.
After this, put rice, moong dal and water in it and whistle.
Then you heat ghee in a pan and add cumin and asafetida in it.
After this, add tomato, green chili, turmeric powder, salt, red chili and ginger paste and fry it.
Then you add garam masala to it and cook for a while.
After this, add the prepared khichdi mixture to it and cook it for about 10 minutes.
Then you heat ghee in a pan. After this, add mustard seeds and dry red chili tempering to it.
Then garnish it with green coriander and serve it hot with curd, papad, ghee and pickle.
