    It will be known today whether TMC MP Mahua Moitra will lose her membership in the ‘Cash for Query’ case or not. The Parliament Ethics Committee is going to meet today. It is being said that in this meeting, the Ethics Committee can recommend to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla to expel Mahua from the Lok Sabha. On the other hand, action is also being taken against Danish Ali because he had used indecent language against the committee chairman.

    Let us tell you that there are a total of 15 members in the Parliament Ethics Committee. These include seven members of BJP, three of Congress and one member each of BSP, Shiv Sena, YSR Congress, Marxist Communist Party and JDU. It is being told that the Ethics Committee has prepared a 500-page report on this entire matter. Despite disagreement from opposition parties, the Parliament Ethics Committee has recommended action to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

    Opposition members can express disagreement

    According to sources, Congress’s N Uttam Kumar Reddy and V Vaithilingam may express their disagreement on the Ethics Committee report. At the same time, former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh Preneet Kaur can give a dissent note from the Congress quota. Apart from this, BSP MP Danish Ali can also express disagreement on the report of the Ethics Committee of the Lok Sabha.

    The last meeting of the Ethics Committee was held on 2 November. In this meeting, some members of the opposition parties had expressed their displeasure against committee chief Vinod Kumar Sonkar. Five members of the opposition parties were angry at Sonkar for asking questions to Mahua Moitra. Everyone had accused Sonkar of asking personal questions to Mahua.

    Opposition members had walked out

    Opposition MPs Girdhari Yadav, Danish Ali, Uttam Reddy, Natarajan, Vaithalingam had walked out of the Ethics Committee. Mahua Moitra also got angry after coming out of the meeting. Along with Mahua, BSP MP Danish Ali also used unparliamentary language against Sonkar. Mahua had accused Sonkar of asking dirty questions.

    Along with this, Danish Ali also said bad things. Mahua was asked many questions during the interrogation that lasted for about two and a half hours. Some of these questions were also asked which were personal. Mahua got angry on these questions.

    Mahua accused of taking cash in exchange for questions

    Let us tell you that Mahua Moitra has been accused of taking bribe from Mumbai businessman Darshan Hiranandani and targeting Adani Group and PM Modi inside the House. BJP MP Nishikant Dubey has made this allegation against Mahua. On October 26, the Ethics Committee had questioned BJP MP Nishikant and Mahua’s former friend Dehadrai in this matter.
