When both of them fell in love, they ran away from home and reached Bengaluru, from where Bihar Police took them into custody and returned to Bihar. To escape from the clutches of the police, both of them jumped from the train at Multai in Betul.
According to the police, this loving couple is originally from Bhagalpur in Bihar. In the statement given to the police, the woman’s husband Amit Kumar told that his wife Priyanka was having an affair with his cousin brother Pankaj. Recently both of them had run away to Bengaluru and started living here. He had given a complaint to the police in this regard. After this, the police traced their mobile location and detained them in Bengaluru and now Bihar Police was returning to Bihar by Sanghamitra Express train taking them with them.

As soon as their train reached Multai station of Betul on 3rd February, the speed decreased slightly. In such a situation, seeing the opportunity, Pankaj and Priyanka jumped from the moving train. Both were seriously injured in this incident. At present he has been admitted to the district hospital of Betul. According to Amit, as soon as his wife and his cousin jumped from the train, he immediately did the chain pulling and also informed the police present in the other coach. After this, the police picked up both of them from the track and took them to the hospital.
