Here a big decision has been taken by the state government regarding the new liquor policy, under which liquor will be sold in the state’s super market as well. Licenses will be issued to operate liquor counters on fixed license fees in selected super markets in Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, Gwalior.

Liquor will be available from door to door in the state
Now liquor will be available from door to door in Madhya Pradesh, home bar licenses will be given by the state government to those with an annual income of one crore, for this 50 thousand annual license fees will have to be paid. At the same time, liquor became cheaper in MP. English liquor will be cheaper after the duty is reduced by 20 percent in the prices of foreign liquor.
Domestic and foreign liquor can be sold at the same shop
Shops in the state will be composite and now both domestic and foreign liquor can be sold at one shop. Tender will be floated to convert single clusters running in 17 districts into smaller clusters as before. A proposal for renewal will be sent to small groups operating in 35 districts. Wine made from grapes was exempted from excise duty. Liquor made from jamun has also been approved.
