Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab CM Bhagwant Nan
An unfulfilled dream of Aam Aadmi Party national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was fulfilled in Punjab today. The ambitious scheme of door step delivery of ration, which Arvind Kejriwal was trying to implement for the last several years, has started in Punjab today from 10th February.
In fact, the important scheme of Punjab Government ‘Ghar-Ghar Ration’ has started, which was inaugurated in a big meeting in Khanna Grain Market of Ludhiana district of Punjab, which is one of the largest grain markets of Asia. AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched this scheme by visiting the families of the beneficiaries in Amloh, Khanna.

What facilities will people get?
According to the Punjab Government, under the Ghar-Ghar Ration Scheme, beneficiaries will get free ration delivery at their homes every month. Only this much beneficiaries will have the option of flour or grains. The Punjab government claims that with the implementation of this scheme, people will neither have to go out of their homes nor stand in long queues. Black marketing of grains will also be curbed. Besides, the Punjab government will also provide employment to more than 1500 youth as delivery agents. According to the Punjab Government, there are approximately 38 lakh ration card holders in Punjab and 1 crore 46 lakh beneficiaries who get ration supply from 20,500 government ration shops.
Kejriwal’s attack on the center
Let us tell you that since the formation of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal has been continuously trying to start door step delivery of ration, but due to the ongoing tension between the Central Government and the Delhi Government, the plan could not be implemented and the files. But it remained limited. Even on Friday, during the foundation stone laying ceremony of a school building in Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal had attacked the central government for allegedly not allowing the scheme to be implemented and had said that if not in Delhi, we can do door step delivery of ration in Punjab. After showing it, we will try to implement it in Delhi also.

CM Mann said, ‘Today is a historic day’
On this occasion, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that today is a historic day because today the scheme of delivering ration to every home has been implemented. Arvind Kejriwal has shown the country the direction of working politics. We went to Salna village and met the beneficiaries. Now fairs of good news have started being organized every second and fourth day in Punjab. Good news is being received every day. Sometimes employment and sometimes some scheme, Rangla Punjab is being formed. CM Mann further said that just as offices run from 9 to 5, similarly farmers’ fields are their offices. They too should get electricity during the day and should also go home on time. Punjab government has taken over a plant which will provide cheap electricity to the people. Meanwhile, Bhagwant Mann also attacked the election campaign of Akali Dal. He said that this is not a Save Punjab Yatra but a Save Family Yatra. Those who have caused disrespect to Guru Granth Sahib, God sees everything and definitely gives the consequences of their deeds.
