Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena
Kejriwal government has received a big blow from Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena. The Lieutenant Governor has refused to consider the report of Delhi Vigilance Minister Atishi, which had prima facie alleged involvement of Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar in the Bamnoli land acquisition case.
PTI quoted sources as saying that the Lieutenant Governor has refused to consider the report saying that it appears to be based entirely on the bias of the minister. In the comments made in the file, the Lieutenant Governor has said that I have received the preliminary report on the complaints presented by the Vigilance Minister and supported by the Chief Minister.

The Lieutenant Governor said that it was very unfortunate that the information sent to my secretariat in a confidential envelope had already become public. Copies of it are openly available and its details have been widely reported in the media. He said that after seeing the report, one may be forced to think whether it does not amount to creating public prejudice, the purpose of which is to influence the courts.
The report is biased
Saxena said that CBI is already investigating this matter. I believe that the recommendation made before me is biased and does not deserve consideration. Therefore, it cannot be agreed to consider this. Let us tell you that the Chief Minister’s Office had submitted the 670-page report of the Vigilance Minister to the Lieutenant Governor. In the report sent by the Chief Minister, there was a demand to suspend the Chief Secretary of Delhi.
Chief Secretary has already rejected the allegations
Delhi Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar has rejected the allegations against him. He said that if there is any evidence in this case then if you provide it to ED and CBI, then everything will be fine. He said that the allegations are prejudiced.
