Mumbai. Comedian Kapil Sharma’s popularity is all over the country. Everyone is aware of his humour and also likes him a lot for his witty response. But not everyone is aware of the challenges and difficulties of his life, overcoming which he has reached here. But now preparations have started to take his story to everyone.
Yes, work is going on on the biopic of comedian Kapil Sharma. Producer Mahavir Jain on Friday announced a film on the life of Kapil Sharma under Lyca Productions titled ‘Fankar’ and will be directed by ‘Fukrey’ fame Mrigdeep Singh Lamba. Director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba, who is working on Fukrey 3, said that he is “excited to bring to the audience the story of India’s most loved funk.”
Lyca Productions and producer Mahaveer Jain have also collaborated with Akshay Kumar for the film ‘Ram Setu’. Also for a special film ‘Mann Bairagi’ by Sanjay Leela Bansali; Aanand L Rai has also collaborated for Jhanvi Kapoor starrer Good Luck Jerry. Mahavir Jain said, “Billions of people get their daily dose of dopamine courtesy of Kapil Sharma. We all need love, life and laughter. We are proud to present the untold story of comedy superstar Kapil Sharma on the big screen in a big way.”
Meanwhile, Kapil Sharma’s first comedy special “Kapil Sharma: I’m Not Done Still” is all set to premiere on January 28. The stand-up special was announced in January last year. “From the streets of Amritsar to the sets of Mumbai, Kapil Sharma has been entertaining us for a while now, our favorite comedian is all set to tickle you with his first comedy special this time on Netflix.” Kapil is currently on Sony TV with “The Kapil Sharma is seen hosting the show”, which is telecasted every weekend.
