Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has launched the logo and website of Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit. Launching the logo and website of the summit in a program organized in Dehradun on Saturday, the Chief Minister said that this time a target of investment of Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand crore has been set in the Investors Summit. The state government has also made reforms in policies to promote investment. The government has implemented new policies.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that 27 policies have been prepared for many areas. A land bank of 6 thousand acres has also been prepared in the state. Actually, Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit is going to be held in Dehradun in the coming December. All these preparations are being made in this regard.
Government is continuously communicating with the industry
In the unveiling program of the logo and website of Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit, the Chief Minister said that the state government is in constant touch with the industry and major industrial organizations. In this sequence, talks were held with prominent industrialists in Dehradun on 17th August and in Delhi on 21st August. He said that the suggestions received from the industry have been taken very seriously. On the same basis, improvements have been made in MSME policy, service sector policy, logistics policy, solar policy etc.

State becomes investment destination along with peace destination
Chief Minister Dhami said that there is a lot of enthusiasm among the industrialists due to the favorable environment for industries and investment in the state. People have been coming to Devbhoomi Uttarakhand for centuries for peace. A large number of tourists come every year. Now with investors also coming here, the atmosphere seems excited. Along with being a destination of peace and tourism, Uttarakhand has also become an investment destination.
People from India and abroad want to join here. Uttarakhand is becoming a major center for investment due to its natural environment, effective single window system, investment friendly policies, proximity to the national capital and infrastructure. Uttarakhand is in the achievers category in ease of doing business. In the Export Readiness Index released by NITI Aayog, Uttarakhand ranks first among the Himalayan states while it ranks 9th in the entire country.

Chief Minister Dhami said that the industries already established in Uttarakhand have also talked about expanding themselves. Investors Summit is not only a program of the Industry Department, but all the departments are associated with it. This summit is for all the citizens of Uttarakhand. Investment in the state will generate employment, increase people’s income and Uttarakhand will play an effective role in the development of the country.
Chief Minister Dhami said that many reforms have been made learning from the experiences of previous years. We are working in a concrete manner to bring maximum investment into the state. Prime Minister Modi had said from the land of Baba Kedar that the third decade of the 21st century will be the decade of Uttarakhand. Investors Summit is a big effort in this direction.

During this, Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu said that the specialties of the state have been displayed in the logo of Uttarakhand Global Investors Summit. The two mountain ranges in the logo represent continuity of progress and sustainable development. The green color in the logo symbolizes the natural beauty of the state and the blue color represents opportunities, aspirations and new ideas. The tag line of the summit is – Peace to Prosperity.
He said that investment is necessary to remove unemployment and poverty in the state. Agriculture and horticulture are being given importance. While Additional Chief Secretary Radha Raturi gave the welcome address and Secretary Vinay Shankar Pandey gave the vote of thanks. On this occasion, MLA Durgeshwar Lal, Secretary Shailesh Bagoli, Director General Industries Rohit Meena, Director General Information Banshidhar Tiwari and other officials were present.
