Through this vacancy, 7858 posts will be recruited. Earlier, the number of clerk posts to be filled through this recruitment drive was 7800. IBPS had increased 58 posts. The time allotted for the prelims exam was 2 hours. The exam was of objective type (MCQs). It was conducted for a total of 100 marks.
IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam 2021 was conducted from 12 to 19 December 2021 to recruit 7858 vacancies for Clerk posts. These banks are- Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank and Punjab and Sind Bank.
IBPS Clerk Mains Exam
The syllabus for IBPS Clerk Prelims and Mains exam is almost the same. Another topic added in the Mains exam is General Awareness. Apart from this, 1-2 more topics have been added in other subjects. For General Awareness, candidates need to have good knowledge of Banking Awareness, General Awareness and Current Affairs of last 6 months.
