Even though many top opposition leaders including Congress may not have attended the consecration of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya, but after the event many big leaders are congratulating at their own level. Veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor has congratulated the countrymen by saying ‘Siyavar Ramchandra ki Jai’ after the consecration of the new idol of Ram Lalla, while Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has also congratulated him heartily. However, BSP leader Akash Anand also talked about including President Draupadi Murmu in the program.

Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also shared the photo of the new idol of Lord Ram and said, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all of you on this sacred occasion of installation in the grand temple of Maryada Purushottam Lord Ram. Hail Siya Ram.” Congress leader Shashi Tharoor also posted with the photo of Lord Ram, “Siyavar Ramchandra ki Jai.”

Invitation letters were sent to three top Congress leaders including Sonia Gandhi to attend the Pran Pratistha ceremony, but all three decided not to attend the program. However, cutting across party lines, Congress leader and Himachal Pradesh minister Vikramaditya Singh arrived in Ayodhya on Monday to attend the consecration ceremony.
Along with Vikramaditya Singh, another Congress MLA Sudhir Sharma also reached Ayodhya to attend the ceremony. Vikramaditya said, “It is our utmost good fortune that today on this holy day we have come to Ram’s house in the city of Ayodhya to seek his blessings. Today is a historic day. I feel very proud of myself. I pray for the 70 lakh people of Himachal that the state continues to move forward and progress.”
