Rahul Gandhi
At a rally in Satna, Madhya Pradesh, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi compared his own attire with that of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Rahul Gandhi not only made the comparison but also took a dig at the PM’s attire. Rahul said, ‘PM Modi wears suits worth lakhs of rupees, but I like to wear this simple white T-shirt.’
Rahul commented, “I remember that before becoming Prime Minister, PM Modi used to emphasize on his being an OBC in every speech. But now he rarely mentions his caste.” Rahul Gandhi further said that ever since he started talking about caste-based census, PM Modi has stopped mentioning it. Only after this Rahul Gandhi said that it is interesting to note that while Modi has a line of expensive suits, I am associated only with white shirts.
