New Delhi: In Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state, political activities are going on in full swing these days, due to which all the political parties are working hard to orient themselves in their favor. Amidst the political equation, today is the birthday of former Uttar Pradesh CM and BSP supremo Mayawati.
Mayawati has turned 66 today, to whom party leaders and workers are wishing happy birthday. Born on 15 January 1956 in Badalpur village of Gautam Budh Nagar, the identity that Mayawati created by struggling in life is no less than a milestone for anyone. Mayawati had once dreamed of becoming an IAS by working hard in her studies, but the situation became such that she had to go into politics.
At the same time, author Ajay Bose, who wrote the biography of Mayawati, has claimed in his book ‘Behenji – Biography of Mayawati’ that Mayawati, the Dalit Chief Minister of the state who got the post of CM in UP, had to face discrimination at home.
This discrimination was not done for her being a Dalit, but for being a girl and it was her father who did it. In her family of six brothers and three sisters, all the sisters faced discrimination. While all his brothers were educated in public schools, all the sisters were enrolled in cheap government schools.
Mayawati was the fastest among all her siblings to study. He dreamed of becoming an IS. Before joining politics, he also did the work of teaching children. She used to teach in a school in JJ Colony in Delhi.
The time that was left after school job, she used to prepare for UPSC. But, a big change took place in his life when Kanshi Ram formed the Bahujan Samaj Party. Mayawati was greatly influenced by his ideology. After this she gave up her dream to become an IAS and jumped into politics.
Mayawati was born in 1956
Talking about Mayawati’s personal life, she was born on 15 January 1956 in Indrapuri area of Delhi. He earned a BA degree in Political Science and Economics from Delhi University in 1975. After this he did B.Ed from Meerut University in 1976. And while working as a teacher, he also took LLB degree from DU in 1983.
At the same time, Mayawati wanted to become an IAS officer after passing the UPSC exam and also used to prepare for it, but in 1977, at the behest of Kanshi Ram, Mayawati left her home and dream and entered politics.
