New Delhi: The Bikaner Express going from Rajasthan to Guwahati has met with an accident in Jalpaiguri, West Bengal. In this accident, 12 coaches derailed and 4-5 coaches are expected to suffer heavy damage. tell that Train number 15633 Bikaner Express had left from Bikaner in Rajasthan on Tuesday night. On Thursday morning at 5:44 am, the train left Patna railway station and reached Kishanganj at 2 pm and left for Guwahati from there. The train met with an accident at around 5 am.
Issuing a statement about this accident, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has issued a statement saying that the train crashed in front of New Jalpaiguri. Rescue work started immediately. I am leaving for the accident site now.

So far four people have been confirmed dead in this accident. DG NDRF Atul Karwal has issued a statement in this regard saying that 12 coaches have been derailed. 4 people have died and more than 50 people are injured who have been shifted to the hospital. 2 teams of NDRF have reached the spot.
