Boy dies of heart attack during Garba ceremony (symbolic photo)
Navratri is celebrated all over the country. The doors of Maa Durga have opened in the pandals. Crowds of devotees are gathering in Goddess temples to worship the Mother Goddess. Meanwhile, a sad news came from Kapadvanj Kheda district of Gujarat. On the sixth day of Navratri, a boy suffered a heart attack while playing Garba and fell unconscious on the ground. People immediately took the boy to the hospital for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
The boy’s name is Veer Shah. His age is said to be 17 years. It is being told that the boy was playing Garba with his friends in the Garba ground of Kapadvanj. Meanwhile, he started feeling dizzy. Then he became unconscious and fell on the ground. However, the people present on the spot tried their best. But, there was no movement in the body.
Doctors declared him dead
According to local people, the boy was unconscious. Some people gave CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) to the boy. Still his body was not responding. CPR is the process when the patient has to press hard and fast in the middle of one chest with the help of both hands. After this the boy was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, but the doctors declared him dead.
Garba program postponed
After this incident there was silence at the venue. The Garba program was also postponed. According to news agency ANI, the boy’s father told that some other person informed him about this incident. At the same time, the boy’s mother is in bad condition and crying. He is in shock. No one believed that such an incident would happen. It is being told that the boy had never informed his family about any heart related symptoms. He was absolutely healthy.
