San Francisco: US-based search engine giant Google is planning to launch its first foldable phone ‘Pixel Fold’. Now a new report has claimed that the upcoming foldable can be called Pixel Notepad.
According to 9to5Google, the price of the device could be less than the Galaxy Z Fold 3 at $1,799.
New animations discovered in Android 12L beta 2 show how to insert a SIM card into the upcoming foldable phone.
As per a Gizmochina report, the animation of the SIM setup screen shows a smartphone with a large foldable display instead of the usual single-screen design.
It reveals that the SIM card slot is at the bottom while the volume rocker keys are on the bottom right.
It appears that the Google Pixel Fold may be similar to the recently launched Oppo Find N instead of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Pixel foldable phone is expected from Google in 2022. Google was expected to announce a foldable during its recent Pixel 6 launch event, but it didn’t.
The company recently announced Android 12L, a version of Android 12 optimized for tablets, foldables and ChromeOS devices.
In addition to Android 12L, Google also announced new features in the OS and Play for developers to better support these devices, reports TechCrunch.
