Frauds increasing in the age of digital, NPCI alerts those doing UPI transactions, know – the whole matter

The craze of digital transactions has increased a lot in the last few years. There are many platforms through which payment is made. Nowadays every youth has started doing transactions online, due to which the change has come that digital transactions have started in many decades old shops too. Let us tell you that there are many benefits from this, but as the digital age is progressing, frauds are also increasing and they also find new ways to cheat. Among them there is also fraud from UPI PIN, about which NPCI has issued a warning.

Nowadays it is being seen in cases of fraud that you get a call to win a lottery or win a car or other benefits and if someone comes in their talk then they loot their lifetime earnings. Actually, these people fool in the name of lottery and send a link to get lottery money and click on it and ask you to enter UPI PIN, due to which the bank information reaches the fraud and money will be blown out of your account. Huh.

For this reason NPCI has issued a warning and said that UPI PIN is never required to be entered to take money in the account. UPI PIN is used only for sending money from the account or for any payment. It was warned that if you get a message asking to click on a link, do not click on it and even if clicked, do not enter the UPI PIN. Phishing scams are done through such links.
