West Bengal About Rs 17 crore fixed deposits have been received from the bank accounts of Trinamool Congress’s Birbhum district president Anubrata Mandal and his family members, accused of cow smuggling and coal smuggling in the state. The CBI has seized those bank accounts and confiscated the money. Let us inform that Anubrata Mandal has been arrested in the case of coal and cow smuggling. He is currently in CBI custody. The CBI is interrogating him, but it is alleged that he is not cooperating in the CBI investigation. Meanwhile, CBI officials had gone to his Bolpur residence and wanted to question his daughter Sukanya, but Sukanya did not agree to the questioning.
Let us tell you that Anubrata Mandal is one of the heavyweight leaders of Trinamool Congress. CM Mamta Banerjee had openly supported Anubrata Mandal after her arrest and warned the central government that after the arrest of one Anubrata (Keshto) lakhs of Keshto would be born.
