New Delhi: About a month after the end of the farmers’ movement, the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) seems to be active once again. After an important meeting held on Saturday, the United Kisan Morcha issued a statement saying that ‘Last month on 11th we ended the agitation, but the government Till date no committee has been formed on MSP.The government did not withdraw the cases except Riyana. On 31st, we will protest against the breach of promise in front of government offices.
Along with this, the United Kisan Morcha also said that- government so far Minister Ajay Mishra Teni has not been dismissed. Whereas It has been clarified in the SIT report, but despite this the government is protecting it. Cars were rammed on our people and our comrades were booked under 302. Our comrades were trampled, and our comrades have been implicated by putting 302.
SKM further said in a conversation with the journalists, ‘Rakesh Tikait is going on a tour of Lakhimpur on a 3-day tour. There they will meet the victims and the officials. The people of our United Kisan Morcha will go with them and we will continue the front there till justice is not done.
Yudhveer Singh, the national secretary of the Bharatiya Kisan Union, said in this press conference, ‘We will support the workers in the bandh with them on February 23,24. Our comrades who have gone to politics from the organization, we did not allow any leader to come for 13 months, but the comrades who have gone have gone in haste, and those who have gone to politics from the organization have no relation with the United Kisan Morcha. will not be
Singh further said, ‘We waited for a month and a half, we suspended the movement. But nothing happened on the MSP bill, cases are registered across the country. Cases are registered in Rail Roko case. Despite that the cases were not withdrawn anywhere in Tamil Nadu-Kerala. Cases were not withdrawn. 12 of our farmers were put in jail. This government has broken its promise. therefore Demonstration against Modi government will be started at every district level tehsil level from January 31. There will also be a demonstration in Delhi.
At the same time, in this regard, Rakesh Tikait has issued a statement saying that we will go to the farmer’s family on 21st and will meet the victim’s family in Lakhimpur Kheri and decide the future strategy there. They said, ‘We are going on Mission UP. Will go to Allahabad tomorrow. Then on 21st, will go to Lakhimpur Kheri, will meet the farmers and officials from the families of the victims. We are not going to harm anyone, we are going to speak our mind. We do not do politics by going to UP, nor do we do politics. We will go to the middle of the farmers and keep our point.
Tikait further added, ‘There is a program on 31st across the country. After that will tour the whole of UP. Will tell after 4 months, now those people are contesting elections, fight, do politics. Lakhimpur will go to Kheri, will set up the base there, what will he do like here, he will be able to tell only after going here, what will be the date and time of the date, only he will know. We are not going to UP for profit and loss. We are going with the farmer’s issue. We have nothing to do with politics.
