The Ministry of Labor, Government of India has made a big announcement saying that so far 20 crore registrations have been done on its e-shram portal. The e-shram portal was launched by the Government of India to create a database of workers in the unorganized sectors. Through this, employment will be provided to poor labor families by the central government on the basis of their skills.
Since its launch, the e-Shram portal has received 7,27,71,500 registrations from Uttar Pradesh, followed by West Bengal with 2,39,05,965 registrations. After these 1,90,74,046 workers from Bihar, 1,28,53,007 workers from Odisha and 70,96,842 workers from Jharkhand registered on the portal. Workers who have registered will be given e-shram card to take benefits.
All categories of workers can register themselves on the new portal with the help of their Aadhar number, bank account details etc. Meanwhile, the registration on the e Shram portal has started and the Ministry of Labor has also launched a national toll-free number 14434, which will help in resolving all the queries of the workers regarding the registration process.
As soon as the self-registration of the e-shram card is done, the workers will automatically start getting the benefits of the central government government scheme. Here is the way to register on e-shram portal…
Phase 1: Visit the official site of the e-shram portal page- www.eshram.gov.in by visiting the internet.
Phase 2: On the homepage, click on the link ‘Register on e-Shram’.
step 3: If you click on it a new page will open. There in the registration form, enter the mobile number linked with the Aadhar card, captcha code, EPFO and ESIC member status.
step 4: Now select the option to send an OTP to your number.
Step 5: Then after receiving the OTP, write it in the OTP box.
Step 6After that fill the application form completely. Enter your personal information like name, address, salary, age. Along with this, you will also have to upload your necessary documents.
Step 7: Then click on submit button. After that your application will be successfully submitted.
