New Delhi: The preparations for Republic Day are in full swing in the country amid the Corona protocol. Delhi Police has issued a traffic advisory for the rehearsals for the Republic Day parade. According to the advisory of Delhi Police, Republic Day Parade-2022 will be practiced on Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
During this, traffic on Rajpath-Rafi Marg, Rajpath-Janpath, Rajpath-Man Singh Road and Rajpath-C-Hexagon will remain suspended from 9 am to 12 noon. Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to India Gate will remain closed.
The parade will take place on Rajpath from Vijay Chowk to C-Hexagon. Traffic will be diverted during the parade. Passengers have been requested to follow the traffic rules, road discipline and the instructions of the traffic police personnel posted at all the intersections.

– Traffic police suggested people to use Lajpat Rai Marg-Mathura Road-Bhairon Road-Ring Ring Road instead of Ring Road (Ashram Chowk-Saraikale Khan-IP Flyover-Rajghat) for going from North to South and South to North Is.
– Arvind Marg – Safdarjung Road – Kamal Atakurk Marg – Kautilya Marg – Sardar Patel Marg – Mother Teresa Crescent – AML – Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Prithvi Road – Rajesh Pilot Marg – Subramaniam Bharti Marg – Mathura Road – Bhairon Road – Ring, Barfkhan – It has also been suggested to use Azad Market-Rani Jhansi Flyover-Panchkuiya Road- Hanuman Murti-Vande Mataram Marg-Dhaula Kuan.
While traveling from east to west and west to east, the passengers are allowed to go Ring Road- Bhairon Road- Mathura Road- Subramaniam Bharti Marg- Rajesh Pilot Marg- Prithvi Raj Road- Safardarjung Road- Kamal Atarkuk Marg- Panjsheel Marg- Semyon Bolivar Marg- Upper Ridge Road. It has been advised to use Vande Mataram Marg etc.
