MCD has faced a big action against the coaching center in Mukherjee Nagar, Delhi. MCD has sealed the basement and mezzanine floors of 20 coaching centers on Tuesday. This step has been taken by MCD keeping in mind the safety of the students preparing for coaching. Last month also 14 coaching centers were sealed by MCD.
A few weeks ago, an incident of fire was reported in a private institute in Mukherjee Nagar. The fire was so severe that students studying in the institute were seen jumping from the windows to save their lives. Investigation of the accident revealed that there was no arrangement for fire exit in the institute. Due to which the students were forced to jump from the windows to save their lives.

Along with this, MCD has issued notices to 80 more coaching centers due to violation of building bylaws. It is being told that in the notice, the coaching center has been asked to improve the arrangements of the building otherwise be ready for further action.
Operation is being carried out keeping the safety of students at stake
Actually, there are many coaching centers in Delhi which are operating by ignoring the rules in the name of safety of the students. Some coaching centers are operated in such buildings where there is neither a fire alarm nor a proper staircase to exit during an emergency.
Mukherjee Nagar has become the hub of coaching center
Mukherjee Nagar of Delhi is the most preferred preparation area for students. Boys from many states prepare for IAS-PCS as well as MBA and engineering here. Coaching centers charge huge amount from them for preparation but play with them in the name of security in the building.
