Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has given a big gift to government employees before Diwali. The dearness allowance of employees has been increased by four percent by the government. Whereas earlier they used to get 42 percent dearness allowance, now it has increased to 46 percent. Along with this, it has been decided to give bonus of up to Rs 7000 in 30 days’ emoluments to non-gazetted employees. This announcement by the Chief Minister will provide great relief to the employees and pensioners of the state. After the announcement their salary and pension will increase.
While wishing Diwali on the social media site ‘X’, CM Yogi Adityanath wrote, “All the state employees, aided educational and technical educational institutions, urban bodies, UGC employees, work in-charge employees who are contributing to the progress of Uttar Pradesh.” And pensioners will be provided dearness allowance at the rate of 46% of the basic salary.

Giving good news to non-gazetted employees also, CM Yogi wrote, “Similarly, all state employees (non-gazetted)/work charged employees, teachers, non-teaching staff and daily wage workers will be given emoluments equal to 30 days (maximum limit Rs 7,000). “It has been decided to provide bonus.”
28 lakh employees will get gifts
This announcement made by Yogi government before Diwali will benefit 28 lakh employees and pensioners of the state. After this announcement, employees and pensioners will get more salary and pension. The dearness allowance given to employees has been increased by four percent from 42 to 46 percent. This decision has left employees and pensioners in a tizzy. Along with this announcement, the Chief Minister also congratulated Diwali.
