UP PET exam was organized today by Uttar Pradesh Staff Selection Commission. As soon as the first day of this exam is over, a lot of opposition is being raised against a question in the exam. Actually, in the second shift examination of UP PET 2023, a controversial question was asked about the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi. This question is being opposed a lot on social media.
UP PET exam was held today on 28th October in two shifts. After this it will be organized tomorrow i.e. on 29 October 2023. In the second shift exam on the first day, question number 31 in set number KM3 has surprised everyone.
What was the question?
Question number 31 in UP PET exam was match the following events of the Indian National Movement with the year in which they occurred. Four options were asked in this. The first option was the farmers’ movement in Bardoli, the second option was Mahatma Gandhi’s visit to Noakhali, the third option was Gandhiji started wearing loincloth and the fourth option was the strike of mill workers in Ahmedabad.

In the third option it is written that Gandhiji started wearing loincloth. Questions are being raised on this sentence. Candidates have asked hundreds of questions regarding this on social media. Besides, those preparing UPSSSC PET paper are also asking to apologize for this. However, there has been no response from the exam board regarding this.
What is UPSSSC PET exam?
UP PET exam is conducted every year by UPSSSC. Lakhs of youth apply for this examination every year. This state level examination is conducted to fill the vacant posts of Group B and C category in various government departments of Uttar Pradesh. In this examination, applications are taken from 12th pass candidates.
