Along with pollution, cold has also knocked in the country’s capital Delhi. It is not only cold in the morning and evening in Delhi, but also light fog was seen on Friday morning. The problems of Delhiites have increased due to the double blow of fog and haze in the capital Delhi. The wind speed was less on Saturday compared to previous days, although shivering was still felt in the morning.
According to the Meteorological Department, while the minimum temperature of Delhi is expected to be 15°c, the maximum temperature is expected to be 28°c. Along with this, the climate of Delhi NCR still remains in severe category. According to Safar App, while Delhi’s AQI (Air Quality Index) level is 398, the situation in Noida has become better than before. Noida’s AQI has been recorded at 349.
Whereas the situation in Gurugram has become worse as compared to the previous days, the AQI here has crossed 400 and has reached 430. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather of Delhi NCR has remained dry for the last few days. However, after light fog fell in Delhi on Friday morning, the cold has increased. There is no visible improvement in Delhi’s AQI for almost a month, rather the situation is going from bad to worse.
Delhi’s AQI was recorded above 400, due to which the Delhi government had imposed many restrictions. Which are still applicable in Delhi. Delhi government had banned diesel buses coming from other states in Delhi. Also, Delhi government has ordered to take strict action against polluters.
