Bihar’s Jehanabad Police has caught the robbers who shot the SDO of the Forest Works Department. The police have arrested 5 robbers who carried out the incident. Police have recovered 1 automatic pistol, magazine, looted mobile and motorcycle from the robbers. The caught robbers have been sent to jail. Jehanabad Police has achieved great success by arresting the accused of robbery in 24 hours.
On Saturday, near Nauru village of Parasbigha police station area on NH 83, robbers committed robbery with SDO Kumud Ranjan. The robbers shot the SDO when he protested against the robbery. The robbers shot three bullets at the SDO, one of which hit the officer’s back. Kumud Ranjan is posted as SDO in the Building Construction Department of Alwar and is a resident of Palya village of Makhdumpur police station area of Jehanabad district.
Police formed a team and caught the robbers
The incident of robbery and shooting of the SDO had created a sensation in the area. The police had formed a team to arrest the accused. The police team intensified efforts to arrest the accused. The police have caught the accused on the border of the district. In this matter, Jehanabad SP Deepak Ranjan told in a press conference that as soon as we got information about the incident, a team was immediately formed. The robbers were arrested near Umat Dharnai on the border of Jehanabad district and Gaya district. The weapons and looted items used in the robbery have been recovered from the robbers. The police have arrested the robbers and sent them to jail.
