Drug dealer shot in broad daylight
A medicine shopkeeper was shot dead after a fight in Arrah district of Bihar on Saturday morning. The incident took place in Chandi market of Chandi police station area of the district. After the incident, the police of Chandi police station reached the spot and started investigating the matter. At the same time, after this incident, angry villagers blocked Sakdi Nasriganj Highway. Regarding the incident, it is said that on Saturday morning someone called and asked the shopkeeper to come out of his house to buy medicine from the shop. After this he was murdered.
Police investigation revealed that the deceased shopkeeper was a resident of Farhangpur village of Chandi police station area. The name of the deceased shopkeeper is Tunnu Singh. His age was 38 years. After the incident, the villagers blocked the road by placing the dead body in the middle of the road at Chandi Bazar on Sakdi-Nasriganj main road to arrest the accused.

During the road jam, angry villagers also committed arson by burning tyres. Long queues of vehicles formed on both sides of the road. Traffic on the road was completely disrupted. After receiving information about the incident, Chandi police station incharge Saurabh Kumar, Sandesh police station incharge Awadhesh Kumar and Koilavar police station incharge Avinash Kumar reached the spot with their police force. People were removed after a lot of persuasion.
However, why was the drug dealer murdered? The reason for this has not been clear yet. The police have started investigating the murder from many angles. FSL and dog squad teams have also been called to the spot for investigation. During police investigation, a pistol and some live cartridges were recovered from the spot.

Here, the deceased’s cousin Kamlesh Ram told that around 5:30 and 6 in the morning, he was called to his medicine shop by a call on his mobile. After this he went to the medicine shop on foot from home. As soon as he reached the shop, he lifted only half the shutter of his shop. Then some unknown person shot him dead. Local people brought his body and kept it at the gate of the sub-health center at some distance from the shop.
Family members have no doubt about any person
The deceased’s cousin Kamlesh has clearly denied any kind of enmity and dispute with any person in his brother’s village and market. Also, he has not expressed any allegation or apprehension against any person. It is still not clear who murdered the medicine shopkeeper and why?
Team formed to catch the accused
After this incident, Koilwar Circle Inspector Gautam Kumar told that there is a medical store in Chandi Bazar. Which belongs to Tej Narayan Singh alias Tunnu. He was shot dead by an unknown criminal. The local police station reached the spot within 5 minutes of receiving information about the incident. Other police officers also reached the spot and gathered information about the incident and formed a team. FSL team and dog squad have been called so that the accused can be identified. According to primary information, he was called by some unknown person over phone to collect some medical items. He was murdered on the same pretext.
