Shooting in Bhojpur sand mining domination, one killed
Sand mafia has once again carried out a firing incident at Khangaon Ghat in Chandi police station area of Bhojpur district of Bihar. There was a clash between two parties over the dispute regarding sand mining and making a road on the sand ghat. In the firing that followed, one youth has died while three people are injured. The deceased youth has been identified as 22-year-old Harshit Kumar.
After being shot, he was being taken to Ara Sadar Hospital for treatment. But he died before reaching the hospital. Harshit was the only child of his parents. While the injured include Sunil Kumar, Prakash Chaudhary and Bihari Yadav.
Young man lost his life in the fight for supremacy
Regarding the incident, Sunil Kumar told that his friends Harshit Kumar and Prakash Chaudhary do sand business. On Friday afternoon he had gone to see the sand ghat of Devraj. Anjani Singh of the other group was also present there. On reaching there, Anjani Singh asked why have you guys come here? This is my sand ghat. After this he called his associates Vijendra Singh, Manoj Baba and Chhotu Singh and started firing. Everyone got shot in this.
Bihari Yadav had gone to defecate
Bihari Yadav, who was among the injured, had gone to defecate. During this he was also shot. Among the injured, Sunil Kumar, his friends Harshit Kumar and Prakash Chaudhary were brought to the private hospital located at Babu Bazaar in Arrah city for treatment, where doctors declared Harshit Kumar brought dead. Treatment of injured Prakash Chaudhary and Sunil Kumar is going on. Bihari Yadav is being treated at Ara Sadar Hospital.
Police is conducting raids
In this case, Bhojpur Assistant Superintendent of Police Chandra Prakash said that there was a firing between two groups over illegal sand mining in Khangaon village of Chandi police station area. One person has died due to bullet injury and three people are injured. The police team is continuously raiding. Appropriate action will be taken against those who are involved in this.
