New Delhi: After the national capital Delhi, explosive material has also been received in Punjab. According to news agency ANI, this explosive material was found at the Wagah-Attari border. Giving information on this whole matter, STF’s AIG Rashpal Singh said, ‘We got information about drugs, but when we reached there, we found IED weighing about 5 kg from a village near Wagah-Attari border. We have also recovered Rs 1 lakh. It has come from Pakistan… We are probing the matter.’
At the same time, Border Range IG Mohnish Chawla has given a statement about this that ‘We have recovered 5 kg IED which includes about 2.7 kg RDX, 1.3 kg iron ball, codex wire, electric detonator, digital timer. We have registered a case and are probing it. The IED is of high intensity and can cause more damage.
Let us inform that on Friday itself, Ghazipur in the national capital Delhi. A bomb was found in an unclaimed bag near the flower market. However, the bomb disposal squad reached the spot and defused it. Registering a case under the provisions of the Explosives Act in the Delhi Police Special Cell, the investigation has started.
Earlier, the police said that after the recovery of the bag, they have sent a bomb disposal squad to the Ghazipur Flower Market. Fire tenders have also reached the spot.
