Rahul Gandhi in ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Assam (PTI)
Just before the Lok Sabha elections, ‘Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra’ is being carried out under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. Tomorrow is the sixth day of the yatra on Friday and for the first time in this yatra, Rahul Gandhi will walk on foot tomorrow. Earlier, due to security reasons, he could not travel on foot in Manipur, Nagaland and its border areas.
However, Congress has already said before this journey that this journey is a hybrid journey, that is, a journey of 6,700 kilometers has to be covered by bus, boat and on foot or by other means. Lok Sabha elections are to be held in the country after a few months and before that this journey is considered important from the election point of view. Rahul Gandhi had said in PC in Nagaland, “I will try my best to travel on foot as much as possible.”
Bharat Jodo Nyaya Yatra will be held in Majoli, Assam tomorrow on Friday. Rahul Gandhi will reach Majoli tomorrow by water route from Nimati Ghat in Jorhat. Congress’s ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ reached Assam from Nagaland on Thursday. ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ will pass through 110 districts of 15 states of the country. The 6,713 km long yatra led by the former Congress president started from Manipur on January 14 and will end in Mumbai after about two months on March 20.

Assam government and CM are the most corrupt in the country: Rahul
As soon as ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ entered Assam, Rahul Gandhi launched a major attack on the state government. He said that Assam probably has the ‘most corrupt government’ and ‘most corrupt Chief Minister’ in India. You know what’s happening here. We will raise many issues related to Assam during ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’.
He also said, “Corruption continues rampant in Assam. We all know that the most corrupt Chief Minister in India is probably the Chief Minister of Assam.” In Jorhat, Rahul once again made a big allegation and said that the entire family of Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma is involved in corruption. This journey of Congress in Assam will continue till January 25.
