Police made announcement and attached property of Atiq Ahmed
Mafia Atiq Ahmed’s benami property worth crores of rupees was attached on Monday. Police attached benami property worth about Rs 12.5 crore in 16 acres in Gauspur Kathula area. Atiq Ahmed had forcibly transferred this property from the Dalits to his men. Before proceeding with the attachment, the administration made an announcement by putting up a board on the said land. A large number of police forces were present at the spot during the attachment proceedings. Even before this, the police had attached property worth about Rs 300 crore of Atiq Ahmed.
Again a major action has been taken against the benami properties of Mafia Atiq Ahmed. This time in Prayagraj, the police has attached the benami property worth crores of rupees of Atiq Ahmed, which was valuable due to its proximity to the airport. Police has taken this action in Gauspur Katol area of Dhumanganj police station area. In this area, confiscation action was taken by declaring the benami property of 25 bighas of Atiq Ahmed. A board of the Police Commissioner’s attachment order was put up here.
Atiq had bought property in the name of Dalit laborer
The police commissioner had obtained permission for attachment from the local gangster court. After receiving the order, this action was carried out with heavy police presence in the area on Monday. The police put up a board related to attachment here and then made an announcement by playing drums. This property, spread over 16 different acres in the area, was purchased by the mafia at a low price 8 years ago in the name of a Dalit laborer Hublal.
Hubalal, who earns only Rs 400 as a daily wage, had informed the police a day before. This property was identified in the gangster case registered in Khuldabad police station. Police say that apart from Hublal, Atiq Ahmed had purchased benami property worth hundreds of crores in the name of many other people, after identifying which, action will be taken to confiscate it too.
