According to Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), the price of domestic PNG has been increased by Re 1 in Delhi and Gautam Budh Nagar from today. After the increase in the prices of PNG, now the PNG gas in Delhi has increased from Rs 36.61 to Rs 37.61 per SCM. At the same time, people in Gautam Buddha Nagar will have to pay Rs 35.86 per SCM for PNG gas from today.
There has also been an increase in the prices of CNG in metros including Delhi NCR. The price of CNG has also been increased by 50 paise per kg. After this, the price of CNG in Delhi has gone up to Rs 58.01 per kg. Earlier, IGL had increased the price of CNG by 50 paise in the beginning of March.
Earlier from Tuesday, the prices of domestic LPG cylinders have been increased by more than Rs 50. This is the first increase after 6 October 2021. Earlier this month, oil companies had increased the prices of 19 kg commercial gas cylinders by Rs 105.
The government says that due to the Russo-Ukraine war, the price of crude oil is now running at $ 100 per barrel. In such a situation, it has become necessary to increase the prices of petrol and diesel. It is believed that this increase in the prices of petrol and diesel may continue continuously in the next few days. The burden of which will have to be borne by the general public.
